Meet the Team

Gary founded Allies of the Wild in 2019, driven to harness the power of the creative youth of our generation to protect our planet’s most endangered ecosystems and the animals that call these places home. Raising money through raves, gigs and art creation, Gary spearheaded the first Allies fundraisers in Columbia and the Great Barrier Reef, and has worked on projects in Belize, Thailand, and Ireland. Driven by his passion for all zoology and conservation, Gary’s research focuses on American crocodiles in Latin America and the effects over development and human expansion has on them. Gary’s unbridled enthusiasm is the true driving force of Allies of the Wild.

Rhiannon is a zoologist and wildlife conservationist from Wales who has been involved in conservation projects around the world, including work in Costa Rica, Thailand, and Namibia. Besides executing the management of our day-to-day operations and future projects, Rhiannon is passionate about conservation work that involves local communities and indigenous people to reduce human-wildlife conflict and restore degraded habitats. Rhiannon’s incredible work ethic, passion, and organisation abilities are vital in keeping Allies of the Wild moving in the right direction.
