About Us

Allies of the Wild was founded in 2019 by Gary Moscarelli. We are a youth-led and youth-oriented organization that champions the protection and rejuvenation of our planet’s wild  places and the critically endangered species that call them home. We run rewilding and land acquisition operations with the sole focus of buying and protecting critically endangered habitats earmarked for deforestation, safeguarding these vital ecosystems from corporations that could potentially damage them. We achieve this through fundraising efforts aimed at young people through the organization of raves, gigs, and other events including thrift and merchandise sales. As young people ourselves, we believe that the youth of today have the power to make the positive change our planet so desperately needs, and the content we create through documentaries, photography and social media are intrinsically influenced by and linked to the creative youth of our generation. Our goal is to create a community of like minded people who are passionate about our planet. It will take all of us to create the change we want to see.
